The images of the deadly earthquake and tsunami that have ravaged Japan were truly very heartbreaking. Cars, homes and people were swept away by the monstrous wave as it slammed into the coastline of Japan.
The United States, as always, is already sending much needed and well appreciated aid to Japan. The entire world community needs to also respond by sending whatever aid that they can as well.
Emergency equipment, along with search and rescue teams from California, where earthquakes are also common, will be going to Japan to assist in recovery operations.
