Silverman Duo Performs

Pianist Robert Silverman and bassist Andy Bassford performed jazz music and show tunes last month for residents, who joined in and sang some of the songs. Silverman conducts a weekly jazz course at the Hebrew Home for the Aged in Riverdale. Some of his original songs were included in the show. Other songs performed included “Sunny Side of the Street” and “Embraceable You.”
