Five numbers, five years = $75G win

For Diane Fay, five’s a charm.
The retired teacher from Middle Village had been playing the same five numbers for five years before she hit the lotto, winning $75,488 in the Take Five drawing on May 4.
“I started to shake when I realized I had won,” said Fay, who purchased her winning ticket at the Optimo Candy & Grocery Store at 74-29 Metropolitan Avenue in Middle Village.
She said she plans on buying a new Hyundai with her windfall.
Shkyra Jackson of Long Island City was also a winner, scoring $10,000 on the Win 4 drawing of April 30. Jackson’s winning ticket was purchased at the Associated Supermarket at 10-07 41st Avenue in Long Island City.
