In regard to Pope John Paul II’s beatification which put him on the road to sainthood, I think it is a great day for the many that loved and admired him and the things he tried to do for the good of the many.
He truely changed the world and was in part the cause of the fall of Communism. As a Catholic and as a member of the Knights of Columbus, I believe Pope John Paul II was a shining light that enlightened both young and old alike.
It seemed when he passed away his light of compassion dimmed but never was extinguished. Pope John Paul II said, "You must be strong with love, which is stronger than death . . . Never lose your spiritual freedom."
Well in life he never did and we shouldn’t either. He truely was a religious leader that was a man of the people. Let me therefore say,"Santo Sabito!" Make him a Saint.
