Senior center happenings

SOUTH OZONE PARK – The Rockaway Boulevard Senior Center, at 123-10 143rd Street, offers yoga, Tai Chi, dance groups, chair exercise, a choral group, ceramic, art and camera classes, Wii games, arts & crafts, conversational Spanish, a book talk club, movie afternoons, computer classes, trips, birthday parties, celebrations and more.

They are open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Breakfast is served at 9 a.m. (suggested donation is $.75); lunch is from noon to 1 p.m. (suggested donation $1.50). For more information, call 718-657-6752.

JSPOA offers lunch

SOUTH JAMAICA — The Jamaica Service Program for Older Adults (JSPOA) announces that seniors can enjoy a daily sit-down meal at noon.

This meal will be held in the dining room of the South Jamaica Senior Center, at 107-60 159th Street Jamaica, NY 11433.

Seniors are urged to sign up the day before at the center. Suggested contributions are $1.50. For more information, call 718-657-6500.
