Frank was forgotten

It has just come to my attention that former State Senator Frank Padavan was not invited to march in this year’s Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade by the parade committee. Now meanwhile he has marched in the parade for 40 years.
According to Bernard Haber, former Chair of Community Board 11, Padavan has had health issues recently but still should have been invited, even if he had to turn down the invitation.
Padavan has served for 38 years in Albany and is a retired colonel in the Army reserve. By not inviting him I find it to be a total disgrace. I hope this oversight can be addressed and I hope an apology can be forth coming.
