Moda building site for dance event

There was cha-chaing under the constellations.

The first ever Dancing Under The Stars took place recently on the roof of the new Moda building in Jamaica.

Assemblymember William Scarborough, recently appointed Chair of the Assembly Committee on Small Business and Economic Development, seized an opportunity to have the first roof top party on the Moda building’s 10th floor terrace, with unparalleled views of southeast Queens.

Congressmember Gregory Meeks, Assemblymembers David Weprin and Rory Lancman, Honorable Archie Spigner and District Leaders Jacqueline Boyce, Henry McCoy, June Bunch and Uma Sengupta were among the many who enjoyed the evening of music and dancing under the stars.
