Dominick is a partner of the Ciampa Organization, a family owned business that builds, owns and manages residential, industrial and commercial real estate throughout Queens. Ciampa Organization has worked with the New York City Housing Development Corporation to create quality affordable housing in the borough of Queens.
Dominick has been a board member of the New York Community Bancorp, Inc. for 16 years and was elected Chairman of the Board on the first of this year. In addition, he was also a board member of the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York and the board of the Catholic Medical Center. He is a past president of the Queens Borough Chamber of Commerce and a founder and past president of the Forest Park Trust and the Queens County Builders and Contractors Association. Over the years, Dominick has been active in and honored by many organizations including the Queens Council on the Arts, the City of New York Mayor’s committee, the Boys and Girls Club of Queens, the Arthritis Foundation, Queens Botanical Gardens, Tourette Syndrome Associated, United Hospital Fund and Boys Scouts of America.
Dominick and his wife Rose live in Garden City. Dominick was inducted into the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem in September 2003.
