Stephen A. Martin is a father of three beautiful, delightful and energetic young ladies – Meghan, Laura and Pamela who keep him busy. He is married to Susan, an understanding and loving wife who has kept him on the straight and narrow for 30+ years. Stephen also shares his home with two loving puppies.
Stephen has been working in the Queens market for the last 33 years. He started his banking career at the Bank of Tokyo Trust Company in Manhattan. Since moving to Queens he has had the pleasure to be working with some marvelous individuals at National Westminster Bank, Barclays Bank of New York, Commerce Bank and presently TD Bank US. Responsibilities include new business development and relationship management for numerous companies is a wide variety of industries.
Stephen volunteers at a number of non profits. He is a past president and continues his board responsibilities at the Queens Council on the Arts. His volunteer service began in Da Nang, Viet Nam where he taught Vietnamese children English at a local religious school.
Stephen was born and raised in Baldwin LI attending St. Christopher’s elementary school. He then attended St. John’s Prep in Brooklyn. After high school, Stephen served 4 years in the USAF with 2 years service in Viet Nam. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a minor in Accounting from C.W. Post College and his MBA from Pace University.
