A truck driver was injured after the tractor-trailer he was operating jacknifed and overturned inside a commercial parking lot in Maspeth last Thursday morning, June 14, FDNY sources said. Reportedly, the accident occurred at around 11 a.m. at the Coca-Cola bottling plant located in the vicinity of Maurice Avenue and 55th Place. Members of Squad Co. 288, Ladder Co. 140, the 108th Precinct, NYPD Emergency Services Unit 10 and EMS units responded to the scene. The driver was brought by paramedics to Elmhurst Hospital Center for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.
