The following video was recently uploaded to YouTube and was taken outside El Potrero, a Mexican restaurant located at 46-12 Greenpoint Ave.
As the graphic video shows, the bouncer from the establishment came out of the bar/restaurant and knocked out a troublesome man. The video was uploaded on August 12, 2012.
The police said that a crime had not been reported in that section of Greenpoint Ave. on August 12, or the proceeding five days.
However, people who were in the Greenpoint Avenue area on Saturday August 11, 2012, recall seeing the victim getting into an ambulance in the early hours of August 12. They did not see the police appear on the scene.
El Potrero has had problems in the past. In February 2010, the police said that a man was shot in the leg inside the bar. The police at the time said they knew the perpetrator but would not confirm or deny whether drugs were involved.
