Two new Eagle Scouts from Boy Scouts Troop 139 at St. Helen’s School in Howard Beach received their ranks during a ceremony last Saturday, Sept. 22. As noted, Matthew and Thomas Caiazza were inducted into the Eagle Scout fraternity after completing community service projects. Matthew Caizza sent care packages to U.S. Marines stationed in Afghanistan, while Thomas Caiazza collected new and used eyeglasses and hearing aids for the New Jersey Lions Club, which will be recycled and distributed to the needy. Rep. Bob Turner is shown at right congratulating the scouts on their achievements.
