a Smashing Entrance Through Glendale Garage

Things went terribly wrong for a driver who smashed through a Glendale garage at high speed while backing up his car last Friday afternoon, Oct. 12, Fire Department sources said. Members of Engine Co. 277, Squad companies 252 and 288, Ladder companies 112, 135 and 175, Rescue 4, Battalion 37, the 104th Precinct, NYPD Emergency Services Unit 10 and EMS units responded to the scene of the accident, which took place at around 4:10 p.m. in the vicinity of 78th Avenue and 64th Street. The driver was reportedly examined by paramedics and was not injured.
