Police say a Minnesota man broke into the Wisconsin State Capitol building through a fifth-floor window. He was found unconscious on the dome’s roof and has been charged with felony criminal damage and entry into a locked building. He is also being held on $1,000 bond.
Populist Italian politician Beppe Grillo launched a local election campaign in Sicily in colorful fashion on Wednesday by swimming the treacherous Straits of Messina. Sixty-two-year-old Grillo swam the 3 km (approximately 1.86 mi) straits in just over an hour despite rain and stiff winds.
A Florida man died after consuming dozens of roaches and worms to win a roach-eating contest that featured a large python as the grand prize.
Bees in northeastern France have been producing honey in shades of blue and green. Their keepers now believe residue from M&M’s candy processed at a nearby plant was the cause.
