BROOKLYN — A Ridgewood man was arrested and charged with spray painting his tag on the side of the Brooklyn Bridge, according to the NYPD.
Enno Tianen, 32, of 60-23 Menahan St., was cuffed Friday after police said he spray painted “LEWY” on an exterior portion of the bridge, causing $8,000 worth of damage, according to the NYPD.
Tianen was charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti, criminal trespassing and possession of a graffiti instrument, police said.
Officers with the NYPD’s Transit Bureau were led to Tianen after discovering the Ridgewood resident had already been charged numerous times for spray painting the same thing throughout the city.
