Two Men Arrested In Separate Sex Crimes

Two alleged deviants in the subway systems in Long Island City and Forest Hills tried to get their kicks by fondling or exposing themselves to women in two separate incidents last Wednesday morning, Jan. 2, police reported.

Law enforcement sources said Andres Lara, 25, of 32nd Avenue in Jackson Heights was collared by detectives the day after he allegedly grabbed the buttocks of a 27-year-old woman at the Queensboro Plaza station on the 7 line last Wednesday morning.

Reportedly, Lara approached the victim on the Manhattan-bound platform of the Queensboro Plaza station at around 10:40 a.m., groped her and fled from the scene.

Authorities said an eyewitness to the incident took a photo of the suspect on his cell phone and forwarded it to the NYPD.

Lara was collared by police last Thursday, Jan. 3, and charged with forcible touching, third-degree sexual abuse and harassment.

According to court records, the suspect was arraigned last Friday morning, Jan. 4, in Queens Criminal Court before Judge Gia Morris, who ordered him held on $2,500 bond or $1,000 cash.

In the second incident, police said that a man identified as 48-year-old Dimitrius Senior allegedly exposed himself to a woman on board a Jamaica Center-bound E train near the 71st-Continental Avenues station in Forest Hills at around 10:30 a.m. last Wednesday.

After flashing himself to the vic- tim, authorities noted, Senior fled from the scene in an unknown direction.
