Midville Student Wins Scholarship

Graham Luongo, an eighth-grader at P.S./I.S. 49 in Middle Village, was named the 2013-14 Board of Trustees Scholarship winner at Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia. As noted, Luongo competed against a qualified field of other applicants from around the country. His selection was in recognition of his academic career along with his ongoing involvement in community service and extra-curricular activities. Luongo will begin attending Fork Union in August on a full, four-year scholarship.
