The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating three suspects wanted in connection to a gunpoint robbery that took place in Astoria over the weekend.
On Saturday, March 2, around 1:15 p.m., the suspects entered a commercial building at 35-09 24th Street, carrying cardboard boxes. Upon gaining entry, the suspects demanded money and one displayed a firearm. The victim, a 78-year-old man, complied, and the suspects fled with an unknown amount of cash.
Minor injuries were reported at this incident.
Suspect one is described as a Hispanic man in his twenties and suspects two and three are described as black males in their twenties. All three were wearing a hoodie and jacket.
