Mets Pitch In with Rockaway Relief

Former Mets pitcher and current broadcaster Ron Darling joined Mets outfielder Mike Baxter at a luncheon in Rockaway Beach last Tuesday, May 7, held by Citi and the Queens Economic Development Corportation (QEDC) to announce ongoing Hurricane Sandy relief efforts and provide a preview of the Queens Taste 2013 food festival, which was held at Citi Field on Tuesday, May 14. Darling-a member of the 1986 World Champion Mets-and Baxter signed autographs and posed for pictures with guests.
