Police have a suspect in custody in connection with the stabbing of a teenager in Woodhaven.
Natasha Martinez, 17, was returning home after work on July 29 at approximately 11:30 p.m. when she was stabbed from behind nearly a dozen times in the back and torso, cops said. Martinez was rushed to Jamaica Hospital.
Police are questioning the suspect and as of Monday afternoon charges are pending.
Martinez is still in critical condition at the hospital.
