S’side Architect Lauded for Design

The Queens Chamber of Commerce held an awards dinner last Thursday, Jan. 16, to honor excellence in design. The chamber honored 21 local builders for new construction and rehabilitation projects on various neighborhood buildings. Among those honored was Sunnyside architect Laura Heim (top left), who restored the interrior of the Bali House in historic Sunnyside Gardens. The second picture show’s house’s new interior.
