Tens of thousands took to the streets of South Richmond Hill on Sunday, Mar. 16, for the annual Phagwah parade, the colorful Indo-Caribbean celebration of the Hindu new year. Participants marched from the corner of Liberty Avenue and 133rd Street to Phil Rizzuto Park, along the way coloring each other with powdered dye, an annual tradition. Some of the revelers are pictured above along the parade route.
