Calling all students! The Kiwanis Club of Woodside is now accepting applications for its 2014 Scholarship Program.
The community-based businessand professional society is set to offer one award of $1,500, another award of $1,000 and a third award of $500 this year.
Graduating high school seniors residing in the Woodside zip code (11377) and/or members of the Bryant High School Key Club can apply.
A final high school transcript showing grades for all years and a copy of SAT scores must be submitted prior to the interview. Plus, aspirants have to write an essay describing their community service. Completed applications should be mailed to Kiwanis Club of Woodside c/o June’s Dance Studio, 39-67 58th St., Woodside, New York 11377. They must be postmarked by June 14, 2014.
