Howard Beach remembers those who served their country

A mass at Our Lady of Grace Church was held before the annual Howard Beach Memorial Day Parade, which began at 11 a.m. Monday in Coleman Square. Veterans and Boy Scouts took part in the procession through the streets of Old Howard Beach, followed by a contingent from the West Hamilton Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
