Three People Shot After a Party In Queensbridge

Victims Survive; Gunman Sought

Three victims were shot following a party at 41-16 12 St. in Queensbridge in the early morning hours on Sunday, Mar. 23, police reported.

The alleged assailant, Shalarmel Nieves, was attending the party and left around 1:35 a.m., only to return with a gun, wounding three victims by firing bullets into a group that had also been inside, police officials said.

The suspect struck three victims in before fleeing the scene on foot, reports said. Wounded in the shooting were a 50-year-old female shot in the leg, a 25-year-old male struck in the foot and a 23-year-old male also shot in the leg.

All victims are currently listed in stable condition under the care of Mt Sinai Hospital, Cornell Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital, police reported

The suspect is described by police as a 33-year-old male, 5’8″ tall and weighing 175 ponds.
