Midville Students Earn Scholarships

Things got tense between State Sen. Joseph Addabbo (right) and City Council Member Eric Ulrich at last Thursday’s debate in Middle Village.

For their community service, two local students received $500 scholarships from the Kiwanis Club of Middle Village during a ceremony, last Wednesday morning, July 16, at the Astoria Bank in Middle Village. Michael Urbano of Middle Village and Vivienne Crowe of Maspeth, both students at Our Lady of Hope School in Middle Village, are pictured at center holding a ceremonial check.
