Cops Catch One, Seek Other In R.H. Robbery

A 19-year-old man was robbed by two suspects while walking near a South Richmond Hill intersection last Tuesday, Sept. 23, according to law enforcement agents.

Reportedly, the incident occurred at around 1 p.m. at the corner of 114th Street and 103rd Avenue, within the 106th Precinct.

Police said the victim was approached by two males who then punched him in the face and body repeatedly, officials stated.

The suspects allegedly demanded the victim’s property, authorities stated. One of the perpetrators then pulled out a knife and slashed the victim’s wrist, law enforcement sources noted.

The suspects then stole the victim’s ring and fled from the scene.

One suspect still at large is described as a black male between 17 and 19 years old, with a slim build, police said. The second crook, Joshua Cerna- Gonzalez, 19, of Ozone Park was apprehended on Thursday, Sept. 25, and charged with first-degree robbery, police stated.

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating this suspect pictured in connection with a robbery within the 106th Precinct. The suspect is described by authorities as a black male between 17-19 years old, with a slim build.
