No J & M Trains To Man. This Weekend

J and M trains will not cross the Williamsburg Bridge this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11-12, from 5:45 a.m. to 8 p.m.

During this period, J trains will operate in two sections: between Jamaica Center and Hewes Street and between Essex Street and Chambers Street. The latter section will run every 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, the M train will revert to shuttle service between Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle Avenue-Broadway. Transfer to the J train at Myrtle Avenue- Broadway for service to the Flushing Avenue, Lorimer Street and Hewes Street stations.

Free shuttle buses will operate in place of J trains between Hewes Street and Essex Street and will stop at the Marcy Avenue station. The buses are located as follows:

– Hewes Street-on Broadway at Hooper Street;

– Marcy Avenue-on Broadway at Marcy Avenue; and

– Essex Street-on Delancey Street at Essex Street.

For alternate service between Queens and Manhattan, transfer to the L train at either Broadway Junction or Myrtle Avenue- Broadway, or the A or C train from the J line at Broadway Junction.

More Disruptions Affect The 7 Line

Flushing-bound 7 trains will skip the 33rd Street, 40th Street, 46th Street, 52nd Street and 69th Street stations on weekdays, Wednesday through Friday, from 10:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 31. This service change will also be in effect this weekend, from 3:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, until 10 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11.

For service to these stations, take the 7 train to Woodside-61st Street or 74th Street, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound 7 train. For service from these stations, take the 7 train to Woodside-61st Street or Queensboro Plaza, then transfer to a Flushing-bound 7 train.

Weekend Changes For E & F In Qns.

E trains will run on the F line in both directions between Roosevelt Avenue and West Fourth Street this weekend, from 11:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13.

During this period, Jamaica Center-bound E trains will resume normal service following the 21st Street-Queensbridge station.

As a result of this change, E train service will not be available at the Court Square-23rd Street and Queens Plaza stations. Transfer to a free shuttle bus at 21st Street-Queensbridge to connect to and from both stations.

Additionally, E and F trains will run local in both directions between 36th Street and 71st- Continental Avenues this weekend, from 12:01 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Split Service Hits L Line Weekdays

L trains will operate in two sections-between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway and between Broadway Junction and Eighth Avenue-weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning this Monday, Oct. 13, and continuing through Friday, Oct. 24. Riders can transfer between L trains at Broadway Junction to continue their trip.

It was noted that L trains running between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway will operate every 24 minutes. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Switch Of Lines For E Trains To Jamaica

Jamaica Center-bound E trains will run on the F line between West Fourth Street and 21st Street-Queensbridge late nights, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, Oct. 24.

During this period, Jamaica Center-bound E trains will not stop at the Seventh Avenue, Fifth Avenue-53rd Street, Lexington Avenue-53rd Street, Court Square-23rd Street and Queens Plaza stations. E trains will resume normal service following 21st Street-Queensbridge.

Transfer to a free shuttle bus at 21st Street-Queensbridge for service to and from Court Square- 23rd and Queens Plaza.

Late Night Local

Svc. Along F Line

Jamaica-bound F trains will operate local service between 21st Street-Queensbridge and Roosevelt Avenue overnights, Tuesday through Friday, from 12:30 to 5 a.m. through Friday, Oct. 24. Riders are advised to allow additional travel time.

Delayed Service On G Line Sat.

G train service will operate in two sections-between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and between Bedford- Nostrand Avenues and Church Avenue-on Friday, Oct. 10, from 11 p.m. until 5 p.m.; and this weekend, from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13.

Riders can transfer between G trains at Bedford-Nostrand Avenues to continue their trip.

It was noted that all G trains between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues will operate every 30 minutes (every 20 minutes this weekend). Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.
