Veterans Ceremony Remembers Sacrifice

Over 200 seniors celebrated Veterans Day in Ridgewood with 20 Peter Cardella Senior Center members who served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam on Tuesday Nov. 11. Each veteran was given a red carnation for their service, and the opportunity to tell the group about their service during a ceremony. Pictured are the veterans with Executive Director of the center Barbara Toscano.
