Three youths wanted for criminal mischief in Flushing parking lot

Police were looking for three youth who threw a fire extinguisher at the windshield of a moving car in Flushing earlier this month.

At about 5 p.m. June 2, three boys threw the extinguisher from an upper level parking garage, smashing the car’s windshield as it was entering the lot at The SkyView Mall at 131-07 40th Road, according to the police.

The driver was not injured during the incident, police said.

Officials described the first suspect as a white male, between the ages of 13 and 14, wearing a black long-sleeve sweater, black pants and black sneakers.

The second suspect, also a white male, is between the ages of 12 and 13 and was last seen wearing a black-and-white stripped T-shirt with a blue jacket wrapped around his waist, black pants, blue sneakers and carrying a cap.

The third suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 12 and 13 and was wearing a red T-shirt and black pants.

The investigation was ongoing, according to a police spokeswoman.
