A 27-year-old woman was fatally stabbed during an apparent domestic dispute inside her South Richmond Hill home early Tuesday morning, according to police.
Officers from the 102nd Precinct discovered the victim in the basement of the home on 134th Street near 97th Avenue at about 6:46 a.m. Moments earlier, according to police, the landlord heard a commotion coming from the basement and contacted 911.
Reportedly, the victim was found lying on the living room floor with stab wounds to her shoulder and wrist. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. The victim’s identity was not disclosed pending family notification.
No arrests were made at the scene, and detectives are continuing to search for the woman’s killer, police said.
