Woman found floating and unresponsive in World’s Fair Marina

A woman was found unconscious in the World’s Fair Marina in Flushing Bay Saturday afternoon.

The unidentified woman, who is in her 40s, was found unconscious and unresponsive in the marina at Flushing Meadows Corona Park at about 12:55 p.m. and was fully clothed, according to a police spokeswoman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, the spokeswoman said.
