A new wine bar will be opening in East Elmhurst next month.

The establishment, called Addictive Wine & Tapas Bar, is set to open at 32-63 87th Street in mid-October, according to owner Patrick Duong.

The bar will be located across the street from Addictive Boutique Winery, a wine store that Duong’s partner, Francisco Diaz, opened in 2013.

Addictive Wine & Tapas will carry as many as 100 different wines by the bottle.

It will also sell 14 different wines by the glass, including red, white, rose and port.

There will also be a selection of craft beer.

The tapas menu will consist of Spanish, Italian and French-style cuisine, Duong said.

Duong plans on opening the establishment at 6 am and serving gourmet coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The menu would then switch to wine and tapas at 2 pm. It would remain open until 2 am.

Duong expects to receive his wine and beer license next month. Community board 3 is currently reviewing his application.

Duong said the restaurant will have the ambiance that one should expect from a wine bar.

“There won’t be any loud music or people dancing,” he said. “There will be soft lights and light lounge music.”

“We want people to feel cozy,” he added.
