Queens Chipotle lovers will have two more reasons to celebrate: LIC and Jackson Heights locations are both on the way.
The Mexican food chain confirmed a store located at 87-10 Northern Blvd. in Jackson Heights will be opening on Dec. 10, making it the third location in Queens.
Sources exclusively told The Courier that Chipotle also signed a lease at 26-14 Jackson Ave., a mixed-use 14-story property in Long Island City. Construction at the site is currently underway.
When The Courier reached out in regards to the LIC location, Danielle Moore, a spokesperson for Chipotle, said a new site will open late next spring in the borough but could not confirm where it would be.
Currently, there are two Chipotles in the borough — one on Austin Street in Forest Hills and another in Elmhurst in the Queens Center mall’s food court.
