Police are looking for a man wanted in connection to a Far Rockaway shooting that left one woman dead and another one injured on Wednesday morning.
Officers from the 101st Precinct responded to a 911 call about the incident at a Beach 32nd Street location at approximately 11 a.m.
Upon their arrival, cops discovered a 51-year-old woman in the lobby of the residential complex wounded with a gunshot to the hand. A 36-year-old woman was found in an apartment of the location with a gunshot wound to the torso.
Authorities said EMS transported the 51-year-old female to St. John’s University Hospital in stable condition, but the 36-year-old female was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not disclose if the deceased woman, Joan Gravette, was a resident of the apartment where she was found.
Tyquan Long, 29, is wanted as a suspect in connection to the incident. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
