A Parks Department employee made a grisly discovery of what appeared to be human remains in a Hollis park on Thursday afternoon, cops said.
According to police, the worker found a skull and other body parts inside of a bag at Peters Field Park, located on 183rd Place and Henderson Avenue, at 2:08 p.m., on Feb. 11.
Members of the 103rd Precinct Detective Squad and officials from the Medical Examiner’s Office were called to investigate the incident, police reported.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
