Perhaps the worst part about Leap Year is that one additional day Queens residents have to wait before the March Hot Picks arrive at their local libraries. But this year’s selections are worth the wait, with such literary stalwarts as Danielle Steele and Clive Cussler releasing new books to sate our hunger for adventure, romance, and suspense while Mother Nature continues to tease us with rollercoaster temperatures.
All of you science fiction/fantasy fans take note: Queens Library Presents… three of the genre’s hottest newcomers are coming together to discuss their latest works and take your questions on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 6 p.m. at Manducatis Rustica (46-35 Vernon Boulevard Long Island City, NY 11101).
