U.S. Rep. Grace Meng (D-Flushing) is hosting a town hall Saturday to discuss immigration.
The town hall will be held on the third floor of the Queens Library branch in Elmhurst, located at 86-07 Broadway, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
“I encourage constituents with questions about immigration to attend this informative event,” Meng said. “It’s important that everybody know their rights concerning immigration.”
The town hall will consist of a presentation and a question-and-answer session focusing on immigration. Several immigration advocacy organizations will be in attendance including Make the Road, the Legal Aide Society, The Black Institute and New York immigration Coalition.
