Police are asking for the public’s help in locating two men who beat and robbed a man at a Dunkin Donuts in Richmond Hill and assaulted a worker at a Woodhaven Subway restaurant earlier this month.
According to police, on Sunday, May 7, at approximately 1:07 a.m., two unknown individuals walked into a Dunkin Donuts located on 135-04 Jamaica Ave. near Metropolitan Avenue in Richmond Hill. Once inside, one of the suspects punched a 33-year-old man in the neck.
Both suspects fled the scene with $30 worth of food. The victim was not hospitalized as a result to the incident.
The second incident took place on Friday, May 12 at 10:35 p.m., when two unknown individuals entered a Subway sandwich shop located at 92-12 Jamaica Ave. in Woodhaven. One of the individuals got into an argument with a 34-year-old male employee and then struck the employee with a chair before fleeing the scene.
Property was not removed during this incident. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.
The suspects are described as black males between the ages of 18- and 20-years-old.
