NYPD: Woman Knocked Out Cold on Flushing Street By Two Suspects Who Fled With Purse

Two suspects approached a 59-year-old woman from behind, struck her in the head and fled with her purse while she was unconscious on a Flushing street, police said.

The victim was struck in the head on Saturday, Nov. 18 at around 9:30 p.m. in front of 141-30 33rd Ave., police said. When she regained consciousness she realized her purse was missing, which contained $2,000 in cash, a cell phone and 3 credit cards.

Police said that one of the suspects then used one of the victim’s credit cards to purchase $7.79 of merchandise at a Rite Aid store at 186-16 Union Turnpike on Nov. 19 at around 2 a.m.
