Sex Worker Leaps to Her Death From Flushing Apartment While Fleeing Cops

A prostitute jumped to her death from a third floor window in Flushing Saturday night while trying to evade police during a sting operation, police said.

The woman was working in an apartment building at 135-32 40th Street, near Main Street, at around 7:30 p.m. when she agreed to perform a sex act for an undercover officer, the Daily News reported.

Several officers tried to gain entry to the apartment and she jumped out of the window in an attempt to flee. She landed on the sidewalk where she sustained severe injuries to her head and body.

EMS was immediately requested and transported the woman to New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens where she succumbed to her injuries on Sunday, Nov.26.
