Man Punches 14-Year-Old Boy in Face in Unprovoked Attack at Main Street Station: NYPD

The police are looking for a man who punched a teenage boy in the face in an unprovoked attack at the Main Street subway station earlier this month.

The 14-year-old victim was walking down the stairs on Saturday, June 9 at around 5:10 p.m. when he was assaulted, police said. No words word exchanged between the assailant and victim prior to the incident.

The teen suffered pain and swelling to the face and was treated at Flushing Hospital. The suspect fled the scene on foot eastbound on Roosevelt Avenue.

The suspect is described as black, in his 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 180 pounds. He was seen wearing a black baseball cap, a beige shirt, black sneakers and he had a black and gray backpack.
