Bayside residents can now get their coffee fix at a newly opened Starbucks coffee shop.
The Seattle-based chain opened a new location Dec. 14 in the Bay Terrace shopping center — located at 23-98 Bell Blvd. — according to a spokesperson for the Cord Meyer Development Company.
Back in August, Cord Meyer said that a Starbucks would be coming to the open-air mall by 2019. News that the shop had opened Friday was seen on the Bay Terrace Community Alliance Facebook page, which was confirmed by Cord Meyer, as well as the shopping center’s safety office.
The new Starbucks adds to the chains’ locations in northeast Queens, with one at 215-29 Northern Blvd. in Bayside and another at 221-4A/B, Horace Harding Expy. in Oakland Gardens.
The Bay Terrace location is situated between the shopping center’s First National Bank of Long Island and a Lane Bryant clothing store.
The store is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
