Four people were taken into police custody on New Year’s Day following reports of shots being fired at a Flushing home.

According to police, at 10:20 a.m. on Jan. 1, officers from the 109th Precinct arrived at the home on 136th Street near Booth Memorial Avenue after receiving a 911 call of shots fired at the location. Police learned that four individuals were in the apartment and that they refused to leave or let anyone inside.

The officers were eventually able to get the occupants to exit the home without incident at 11:40 a.m., according to authorities.

Police arrested Brayner Quesada, 23, Daniel Hueso, 21, Julian Herrera, 23, and Raiza Carillo, 28, all of whom live at the residence. They were all charged with criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of marijuana.
