Police have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in connection to the gruesome Feb. 12 shooting in Flushing that left a 31-year-old Queens man dead.
The video, released yesterday, purports to show the unidentified suspect lurching toward the victim, Xin Gu of Long Island City, as he opened the door of a car that had just pulled up outside of 131-01 Fowler Ave. at around 2:35 a.m.
The suspect, only identified by police as wearing a dark face mask and all dark clothing, appears on video to be walking on the sidewalk and passing Gu as he waits nearby for the car.
The suspect then faced Gu when he turned his back to enter the car, and immediately ran toward him with a gun. The final moment of the video show the suspect with the gun at point blank range to Gu.
