Police shut down an illegal drug operation in Corona on Friday when they raided a smoke and vape shop on 43rd Avenue, arresting two men and finding vast quantities of narcotics and controlled substances in the process.
Members of the NYPD Queens North Gang Squad executed a search warrant and raided El Dorado, a vape shop located at 102-28 43 Ave., at around 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.
Ahmad Saleh, 22, and Hussein Saleh, 35, both of Van Loon Street in Elmhurst, were taken into custody following the raid.
Both men were charged with several counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, along with one count of criminal possession of narcotics.
The 110th Precinct took to Twitter to announce the bust. The tweet was accompanied by a picture of an extensive amount of drugs recovered at the scene.
