Man Wanted For Stealing $400 Cash From Woman in Downtown Flushing

The police are searching for a man who allegedly stole $400 from a woman in Flushing earlier this month.

On Sunday, March 15, at around 4.45 p.m. the suspect allegedly approached a 39-year-old woman outside 40-10 Main St. and snatched $400 from her hand, according to police.

The thief then fled the scene in a westbound direction along Roosevelt Avenue, police said.

The police have released a photo of the man wanted for questioning.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
