Police are searching for a man who attempted to break into Howard Beach home earlier this month.
Authorities say that an unidentified man tried to open the front door of a private residence in the vicinity of 91st Street and 160th Avenue at approximately 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6. A 45-year-old woman was inside the house and screamed, which caused the burglar to flee, police said.
Authorities released surveillance video of the incident taken by a motion-activated doorbell on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The man was last seen wearing a black and blue motorcycle jacket with the Monster Energy logo on it.
