The Queens Chamber of Commerce will host a free personal protective equipment giveaway in Middle Village on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
The event will take place at the Community United Methodist Church, located at 75-27 Metropolitan Ave., on Wednesday from 2 until 4 p.m.
Local business owners can stop the by the church to pick up masks, face shields and other protective equipment. Information on COVID-19 and PPE provided by the city and state will also be available.
The giveaway, supported by the Middle Village Chamber of Commerce and Congresswoman Grace Meng, who will be in attendance, is free to all participants. Equipment will be handed out on a first come first serve basis.
