Police are looking for a man who was allegedly involved in three break-ins in Flushing and Whitestone last month.

The man allegedly hit two homes in Flushing on Sept. 15 and a third in Whitestone on Sept. 22, police said.

He first got inside a home at 23-37 Whitestone Expy. at 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 15 by crawling through a back window. However, he fled without taking anything, according to police.

He crawled through a back window of a second home, at 25-25 147th St. in Flushing a few hours later around 11 p.m., but again left empty-handed, police said.

A week later, the suspect had more luck when he burglarized a home in Whitestone. The man climbed through a back window of a home at 147-24 20th Ave around 2:15 p.m. He ran off with jewelry worth approximately $1,500 and fled in a white SUV, police said.

Police described the suspect as male, about 20 to 25 years old, with a slim build.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
